Footbridge Reading 3
 ...NO REPRODUCTION FEES...
A Co. Clare mother has turned her very own solution to her son's dyslexia into a fun online game that is set to help thousands of children in the same situation. Writer and script editor, Linda O'Sullivan, from Quin, Co. Clare, took matters into her own hands when she discovered her then 10 year old son Oisín was struggling with reading by devising a web-based game based on the ancient Irish myth of Grainuaile that would help treat the problem. Now, just over a year later and after winning picking up a start-up business award from Limerick Institute of Technology worth €80,000 earlier this year, the fun-based e-learning game has been launched for the Christmas market. The game is available on a free 7-day trial on www.readingbridges.com and one of its key advantages is that it gives parents/teachers access to progress reports from their child’s use of the game.
